Thanksgiving Day of 2008. With my boys all grown and leading their own lives, and 3 of them living in Southern Ca. this Thanksgiving was destined to be a quiet one. Only my son Travis and his girlfriend Tiffany along with my grandson Jeremiah Lee was all I could hope for seeing as far as family goes. They did not disappoint me. Although they were consuming their Thanksgiving feast at Tiffany's mom's house they did not forget to come to "Mom's" house to wish me a Happy Thanksgiving, along with allowing me to do the proverbial picture taking.
An unforeseen visit by my hubby's nephew, (with his daughter and girlfriend ) visiting friends up here this Thanksgiving weekend allowed me to add a couple more pictures for my picture(s)
of the day.
A day of friends and family.
In the middle is my hubby's nephew Kenneth, on the left is his daughter and on the right his girlfriend. This is out in front of our house. As you can see it was a beautiful and clear sunny day. Also it was not even that cold, not even chilly!
Then this afternoon as they were headed to the "other mother-in-laws" home is my Jeremiah Lee on the left and my son Travis Lee and his girlfriend Tiffany.
Jeremiah is sporting a couple of newly missing upper front teeth!
But they are growing in so quickly that I do not think that he will be singing this Christmas "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth."
This Jeremiah Lee and I on Thanksgiving 2008. It goes without saying that it is quite obvious how easy it is for me to come up with a couple things I am thankful for, when one of them is sitting right on my lap!
Happy Thanksgiving to all my American readers and friends.
PEACE!!!
Allison
