Pinetown's First Lady Living Life in Lassen County in the White House: Garage doors

A little background on why I named this blog what I did.

I should probably do a little explaining on my title of this blog. First my last name is White. Therefore I live in the "White House." Living in the "White House" makes me the 1st Lady. My physical address says I live in Westwood Ca. (not the one by Los Angeles) but a little mountain town in Northeastern Ca. However I really live in a section out of Westwood known as Pinetown. With all the joking going on between my friends, I inevitably became Pinetowns 1st Lady living in the "White House." With all that said, this is just going to be a more personal blog of my life here in Westwood/Pinetown. My family and friends being a big part of it.
Originally I really wanted to take a picture a day for one year and post it on this blog. Perhaps like a photo diary. My life though is quite quiet and perhaps is not photo worthy for a picture a day but I plan on trying. So why not hop in and take a ride with me through little mountain town U.S.A. You may just love it as much as I do!

This house in Pinetown is my favorite when it comes to garage bling. I always just thought it looks pretty sweet!!! There are 5 sets of Antlers. The top center looks like perhaps it could be Moose. But I sure am no expert, Lol!!!

An old garage 2 doors down from me is what I decided to take pictures of today. Why you may (or may not ask ?)
Because the temperature has not gone above 30 degrees here today. Add to that just enough wind to feel the snow off the mountains, makes this girl a less than enthusiastic walker today. Compared to the old wood sheds you see in this town along with old out buildings, this is about the biggest I have noticed so far. And like I said it is only 2 doors down so I see it on a daily basis. Matter of fact it also acts as the school bus stop. All 2 kids, all from the same family, LOL!!! use this bus stop. Unless I am lucky enough to have my grandson Jeremiah spend the night here on a school night. Then the bus has to pick up 3 kids. LOL!

Ya know, you would think with this many clouds out here that it would be warmer, but it is not, and that's a bummer since spring is suppose to be less than 2 weeks away!
But at least this coming Sunday is Day Light Saving Time.
And that I can't wait for!!!

Garage "Bling"

Definitely a gloomy day. The weather sucked. Dark and gloomy, yet nothing to help out the lack of moisture up here. It did not rain and just barely spitted some snow throughout the day. Outside shoveling off the satellite dish so that you could watch the T.V. (or should I say husband could watch T.V.). It was one of those days where going anywhere was going to be in nothing but shades of gray. Do you know what I mean? I even took a couple pictures today for this blog that I thought looked halfway decent of the sun trying to peek through the trees and when I brought my camera in and downloaded the pictures they were in black and white. Blah, Blah, Blah!
Soooo what I found today was some garage door "Bling"
That's about the best I could do. On the other hand, at Westwood Daily Photo blog I got a picture of some fence "Bling" LOL!!!
