A little background on why I named this blog what I did.

I should probably do a little explaining on my title of this blog. First my last name is White. Therefore I live in the "White House." Living in the "White House" makes me the 1st Lady. My physical address says I live in Westwood Ca. (not the one by Los Angeles) but a little mountain town in Northeastern Ca. However I really live in a section out of Westwood known as Pinetown. With all the joking going on between my friends, I inevitably became Pinetowns 1st Lady living in the "White House." With all that said, this is just going to be a more personal blog of my life here in Westwood/Pinetown. My family and friends being a big part of it.
Originally I really wanted to take a picture a day for one year and post it on this blog. Perhaps like a photo diary. My life though is quite quiet and perhaps is not photo worthy for a picture a day but I plan on trying. So why not hop in and take a ride with me through little mountain town U.S.A. You may just love it as much as I do!

Chino Hills and Norco

On Wednesday after the park, I went to visit a 2 dear friends, Janice and Joan. First I went to Janice's house in Chino Hills and we hung out there talking and bullshitting for hours, from there in the evening Janice took me to Joan's house in Norco. These are pictures of the 2 days.
I do want to say that Norco is a TRIP. A full blown trip. Horses have the right of way there. All the streets and parking lots have hitching posts. People in Norco ride their horses like we may ride a bike or take a walk. I had never even realized it was like that.
I also ended up going past C.I.W. the California Institute for Woman where they house the females convicted in the Manson murders. To me this prison looked like a school yard, all old and 1 level. It is totally different than the prisons we have here in Susanville Ca. (High Desert State Prison and California Correctional Center) I am so serious, this prison just looked like an elementary school in comparison!

This is Joans house and there is not a nook or a cranny that you wont find something to look at. This house is absolutely FANTASTIC!!!
This is a little kitchen windowsill humor

Janice and her daughter Chelsea who is a sweetheart!

Looking over Joans fence

A "Hippy horse perhaps?"

Another horse from her back yard. "Buttercup" Damned near the biggest horse I have ever seen. He was/is huge!!!

These next pictures are from the inside of Joans house. You can understand why I do not explain everything in them, I couldn"t!!! LOL!

Stunning decorating, is it not? My girlfriend Joan did all this on her own! WOW!!!
And ya know? these friends did sooo much for me on this trip. It was just so awesome and made me realize things I should have realized a very long time ago. I am sooo lucky to have friends such as these!

Howdy Hi!
I would love to hear what you have to say. Why not leave me a comment?

View Larger Map This is where I live. To the right of Westwood barely visible is the little section I live in called Pinetown. We have probably 150 to 200 people for our population. Westwood on the other hand is HUGE by comparison with a population of around 2000!
