This post goes out to Debra, someone I have never met that just so happened to find my blog amongst all blogs. She used to live around here and she mentioned remembering Young's Market. I do not know if she lived here since the whole side of Young's had a mural painted on it. Sooo just in case it was or was not, this post is for you. It is very pretty is it not. It goes up the whole length of the store!

The white on the bottom is the snow still on the ground!
And to the right of this is where you would go down the Alley to the loading dock, used to be able to bring your cans and bottles there, but not no more!

Oh thank-you! The mural is wonderful. I'm trying to remember if I've ever seen it--the last time I drove through Westwood was hmmm... 2003, I think. Anyway, it really is beautiful and I enjoyed seeing the old Youngs Market sign, too. Oh and only today did I see the photo of yourself--you do not look like an old grandma! :) You look quite young to even be a grandmother, in my opinion. Thanks again so much for the photos!
