Knowing the day would come when I would just get lucky with pictures in and around "my mountain" I still am not sure what to do about it. One picture or two today? No way! It just can not be done by me, not today. Today my "hubby" asked me what I was going to do for my picture for today. I had stated I was going to the mill pond which is behind our house and take some pictures of these bird houses someone has built out there. He asked me if I wanted to walk around it, (the mill pond.) After all these years living here I had never done so.
After the shock of him asking me and actually wanting to go I grabbed my camera and off we went! Following behind this is the beauty of Lassen County I saw today

A little further down and to the right. I just love the way the sun shone here and I was not even trying for that!
It was hard to believe my luck in getting these pictures of the mill pond (almost dry now) with the trees reflections!

Nice, such beautiful landscape. Isn't it interesting that sometimes you capture something you never expected. I love the sunshine shot.
