Located on the corner of Ash and Third street in Westwood Ca, 96137
I used to call this gas station the gas station with no name. The reason being is I really did not know the name. People will stop by and say I am going to the Beacon Gas station. My husband call's it Tom's Sierra,
When I write a check there I am instructed to write it out to S.S.S. for Sierra Super Stop.Yet I have had mild arguments from those that claim it to be Sierra Super Sport. The name Sierra Super Store has been mentioned. However right on their sign it says Sierra Super Stop. So why the discrepancies from all , all this time? Hell, I have no clue except the fact they just recently lit the sign up. Or perhaps when gas prices were so high , who wants to gander further up a sign than what has already got their blood boiling!
But this is a great group of people through out these years who have treated their customers well, and they have a very fair price for gasoline in this section of the county. Before my husband retired he worked over in Chester Ca. a 13 mile drive from here going towards the coast and many a time if not most, the gas prices were cheaper right here in Westwood, and we are a MUCH MUCH smaller town.
We have one on our highway on the outskirts and I still have over 290 posts to go! LOL!!!
